Tourism & Hospitality Faculty

**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
1. **Teaching and Course Development**:
- Design and deliver engaging and up-to-date courses in tourism and hospitality management.
- Develop and update course materials, incorporating industry best practices and global trends.
- Foster interactive learning experiences, including case studies, field trips, and industry partnerships.
2. **Curriculum Enhancement**:
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Tourism and Hospitality curriculum.
- Stay informed about industry developments and integrate relevant content into the courses.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive and competitive curriculum.
3. **Research and Industry Engagement**:
- Conduct research in areas related to tourism and hospitality.
- Foster strong connections with industry partners to facilitate internships, guest lectures, and collaborative projects.
- Encourage students to participate in industry-related events and conferences.
4. **Student Mentorship**:
- Provide academic and career guidance to students in the Tourism and Hospitality program.
- Supervise student research projects, internships, and other practical experiences.
5. **Administration**:
- Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other administrative activities.
- Assist in the recruitment and admission process for the Tourism and Hospitality program.
**Qualifications**:
- A Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Industry experience in tourism and hospitality is highly desirable.
- Previous teaching experience at the postsecondary level is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
