**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**

**Crop Management**:
Develop and implement crop rotation and management plans to optimize yield and quality.

Conduct soil testing and analysis to assess nutrient levels and soil health.

Recommend soil amendments, fertilizers, and pest control measures based on testing results.

Recommend crops to be grown in a particular season which will give maximum yield

**Research and Development**:
Stay up-to-date with the latest agricultural research, technologies, and practices.

Recommend improvements in cultivation practices.

**Advisory and Support**:
Provide technical support and advice to farm staff on best practices in crop management and care.

Train and mentor staff on agronomic practices and sustainable agriculture techniques.

Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for improving crop production and profitability.

**Sustainability Practices**:
Promote sustainable farming practices to enhance environmental health and resource conservation.

Implement integrated pest management (IPM) strategies to minimize chemical use.

Good Knowledge of hydroponic systems and practices.

**Monitoring and Reporting**:
Monitor crop health and growth throughout the growing season.

Prepare and present reports on crop performance, soil health, and sustainability initiatives.

Maintain accurate records of research, observations, and recommendations.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Science, or a related field.

Proven experience in agronomy, horticulture, or sustainable agriculture practices (3-5 years preferred).

Strong understanding of soil science, plant nutrition, pest management, and crop physiology.

Familiarity with hydroponic and controlled-environment agriculture systems is a plus.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

**Working Conditions**:
This position may require working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Occasional travel to different farm sites or research institutions may be required.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
