Responsibilities:
Research and identify potential suppliers of raw materials and consumables.

Evaluate supplier quotes based on price, quality, delivery terms, and reliability.

Negotiate favorable contracts with suppliers, securing the best possible terms for the company.

Manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate specifications, pricing, and delivery timelines.

Track and monitor inventory levels to optimize stock and prevent shortages.

Maintain accurate records of all purchases, including supplier information, pricing, and contracts.

Oversee the timely receipt and inspection of delivered materials, ensuring they meet quality standards.

Collaborate with internal departments (production, quality control) to understand their requirements.

Stay up-to-date on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and new material developments.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements in procurement.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a purchasing role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of procurement principles, negotiation techniques, and contract management.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (a plus).

Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize workload.

Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
