Janssen India, Johnson & Johnson Private Limited is recruiting for a Medical Advisor (Metabolics), a position of Medical Affairs function, located in Mumbai, India.

Janssen India’s business that caters to products which are in their mature lifecycle stage and established in the market. There is a need to continue the respective therapy area knowledge sharing with updates and shaping which facilitates better informed decision making by the healthcare provider along with patients’ participation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Planning and execution of all scientific activities for the franchise (Established Products - Mass Markets), including but not limited to:

- Preparing and delivering differentiated scientific value proposition for our products.
- Product & medical education events for Healthcare Providers.
- Advisory board meetings with Key Opinion Leaders in healthcare.
- Regular training and flow of latest medical developments to sales & marketing team.
- Gathering insights from the Healthcare Providers (especially Key Opinion Leaders) about patient journey, challenges etc. and utilizing them to strengthen franchise strategy & activity plans.
- Identifying, mapping and profiling scientific leaders (HCPs), establishing networks with them and engaging them in appropriate scientific platforms.
- Exploring opportunities for broad-based partnership with Healthcare Providers in key accounts, to position Janssen as the scientific partner of choice.
- Partnering seamlessly with internal stakeholders in other business franchises and functions (like Clinical Research Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Healthcare Compliance etc.), to maximize opportunities and synergies.

**Qualifications** Education**:
Required Degrees
- MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery) from recognised institute in India.
- MD / MS (Doctor of Medicine or Master in Surgery, in any discipline/speciality of medical science).

Preferred / Desirable
- Certification / Diploma / Degree / Fellowship in Pharmaceutical Medicine
- Any other professional certification in the field of science

**Experience and Skills**:

- 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical or allied industry.
- Preferably with experience in Medical Affairs function.
- Knowledge of medical therapeutics.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical science & regulations.
- Knowledge of clinical research and pharmacovigilance.
- Stakeholder management.

**Other Requirements**:

- Proficiency in English language is required both in written and spoken.
- Computer skills with basics of excel, word & power point presentation.
- This job profile requires domestic travel 10-15% of the work time within India.
