- Madhya Pradesh is looking for Professor of Architecture.

The Professor of Architecture holds a key role within the academic community, responsible for educating and inspiring the next generation of architects. This position combines a passion for architecture with a dedication to teaching, research, and service to the academic institution and broader community.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teaching: Develop and deliver high-quality courses that cover various aspects of architecture, including design principles, history, theory, construction techniques, sustainable practices, and emerging technologies. Utilize innovative teaching methods to engage students and foster critical thinking and creativity.
- Research: Conduct original research in the field of architecture, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and understanding within the discipline. Publish findings in reputable academic journals and present research at conferences and symposiums. Collaborate with colleagues, students, and external partners on interdisciplinary research projects.
- Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to undergraduate and graduate students, helping them navigate their academic and professional journeys in architecture. Serve as a mentor for student research projects, theses, and dissertations, fostering a culture of academic excellence and inquiry.
- Service: Participate in academic committees, departmental meetings, and institutional initiatives to contribute to the overall governance and development of the academic institution. Engage with the local community, professional organizations, and industry partners to promote the value of architecture and address societal challenges through design.
- Professional Practice: Maintain connections with the architecture profession through active involvement in professional organizations, licensure, consulting projects, or architectural practice. Bring real-world insights and experiences into the classroom, enhancing the relevance and applicability of academic teachings.

Qualifications:

- A doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in architecture or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated expertise and experience in teaching architecture at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
- Strong record of scholarly research and publication in peer-reviewed journals or reputable academic outlets.
- Proficiency in design software and digital tools commonly used in architecture practice and education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching, research, and service activities.
- Professional licensure or eligibility for licensure in architecture (preferred).
- Previous experience in architectural practice, research collaboration, or community engagement (preferred).

**Salary**: ₹87,032.00 - ₹144,885.66 per month
