Qualification : MD-MS-DNB

Anesthesiologists are doctors who specialize in anesthesia care, pain management, and critical care medicine. Their responsibilities include:

- **Patient care**: Anesthesiologists evaluate, monitor, and supervise patient care before, during, and after surgery. They also help patients receiving specialist treatments.
- **Anesthesia**:Anesthesiologists administer anesthesia to patients so they don't feel pain during surgery. They also explain the risks and side effects of anesthesia.
- **Pain management**:Anesthesiologists help reduce pain after an operation or during childbirth. They also manage chronic pain services.
- **Critical care**:Anesthesiologists carry out assessments in critical care units. They also supervise, coordinate, and manage the patient's care with the ICU team.
- **Emergency situations**:Anesthesiologists deal with emergency situations and provide advanced life support. They also play an active role in stabilizing and preparing the patient for emergency surgery.
