**Key Responsibilities**

**Pre-surgery**

Assess the patient's health, fitness, and determine the safest anesthesia plan

**During surgery**

Monitor vital signs, manage medical conditions, and administer anesthesia

**Post-surgery**

Monitor the patient's recovery, manage pain, and decide when the patient can go home

**Pain management**

Help patients with chronic pain, such as migraines, fibromyalgia, and cancer pain

**Critical care**

Provide vital care for patients who are unconscious or in serious medical condition

**Other responsibilities**
- Reassure patients about what will happen during and after surgery
- Work with other health professionals, such as surgeons, nurses, and radiologists
- Perform administrative tasks, such as writing discharge letters
- Attend multidisciplinary team meetings

**Skills**

Anesthesiologists should have excellent bedside manner, be able to think clearly and act quickly in stressful situations, and have a deep sense of compassion

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
