As a fresher interior designer, you will be responsible for assisting senior designers and the design team in creating, planning, and executing interior design projects. You will work on various aspects of design such as layout, materials, color schemes, and client communication. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills and gain hands-on experience in real-world projects. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assist in Design Projects: Work with senior designers on residential, commercial, and showroom design projects. Assist in creating floor plans, layouts, and 3D models using design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop. 2. Material and Color Selection: Help in selecting appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, and décor based on project requirements. Research and suggest innovative design solutions and trending materials. 3. Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings to understand their requirements and preferences. Support in preparing presentations and mood boards to communicate design ideas to clients. 4. Site Visits: Accompany senior designers to project sites to take measurements, monitor progress, and ensure designs are implemented as per the plan. Assist in quality checks and help resolve any on-site design challenges. 5. Documentation and Coordination: Help in preparing design documentation, estimates, and schedules. Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials and items. Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and contractors to ensure smooth execution of design projects. 6. Learning and Development: Stay updated on the latest trends in interior design, materials, and technologies. Seek guidance from mentors and senior team members to improve technical and creative skills. Qualifications: A degree or diploma in Interior Design or related field. Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, etc.). Strong creativity and attention to detail. Good communication and presentation skills.
