**Position Overview**:
A **Jewelry Cashier** is responsible for handling financial transactions, ensuring accurate billing, and providing excellent customer service in a jewelry store. This role requires strong attention to detail, cash handling skills, and the ability to manage high-value transactions while maintaining a professional and secure environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Cash Handling & Billing**:

- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Generate invoices, receipts, and maintain proper transaction records.
- Handle cash, credit/debit cards, digital payments, and financing options.
- **Customer Service & Support**:

- Greet customers warmly and assist with payment inquiries.
- Explain billing details, discounts, and payment options.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds as per company policies.
- **Security & Compliance**:

- Ensure all transactions follow security and anti-fraud procedures.
- Verify customer identity for high-value transactions.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and financial information.
- **Inventory & Financial Reporting**:

- Reconcile cash registers and report discrepancies.
- Assist with daily sales reports and end-of-day financial balancing.
- Coordinate with the sales team for stock updates and pricing adjustments.
- **Store Operations & Coordination**:

- Maintain a clean and organized cashier counter.
- Assist in managing jewelry warranties, insurance, and installment plans.
- Work closely with sales and management teams to ensure smooth operations.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in finance, accounting, or business is a plus.
- **Experience**:

- 2 - 3 years of experience as a cashier, preferably in luxury retail or jewelry stores.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in POS systems, billing software, and basic accounting.
- Familiarity with handling high-value transactions securely.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Attention to detail and high level of integrity.

**Working Conditions**:

- Retail store environment with flexible work hours, including weekends.
- Handling and managing high-value jewelry transactions.
- Standing for long hours and interacting with customers regularly.
