multiVIEW Locates Inc. is a Canadian-owned professional Engineering and Geophysics firm specializing in utility data collection, mapping, and management services for infrastructure projects across Ontario and Western Quebec since 1989. Operating out of multiple locations across Ontario, multiVIEW partners with customers to mitigate risk and cut infrastructure project costs.

**Role Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist senior editors in the video editing process using Final Cut Pro for Mac.
- Download source files from Cloud-Based storage like Goole Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox
- Organize and manage raw footage, ensuring all assets are properly tagged and stored.
- Perform basic editing tasks including; importing, creating Keywords and Folders, tagging and sorting either by Event or Dailies, creating Multicam Clips, normalizing audio from multiple sources and preparing Assembly Cuts to send to Sinner Editors
- Add graphics, texts and effects to enhance the visual appeal of the content.
- Collaborate with the production team to understand project goals and deliver on creative briefs.
- Maintain project files and ensure all edits are properly backed up.
- Stay updated with the latest editing techniques and software advancements.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in Final Cut Pro Mac.
- Strong understanding of video editing principles and techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience using Cloud-Based storage services like Google Drive, One Drive or Dropbox for collaborating with a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual storytelling.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- A portfolio or reel showing previous video editing work is required.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with other editing software (e.g., Apple Motion, After Effects, Photoshop) is a definite plus.
- Strong Mac computer with Apple Silicon, and the latest version of Final Cut Pro installed.
- Basic knowledge of color correction and audio editing.
- Good knowledge of creating graphics or presentations using Apps, like Apple Keynote, Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides.
- Familiarity with different video formats and codecs. We record in 4K using Sony and GoPro and DJI Drone cameras.
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and visuals aesthetics.
