**Detailed Description**

**Qualification & Experience**
- Bachelors/Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, preferably IRS Enrolled Agent (EA)
- 3+ years of **US** **STATE & LOCAL CORPORATE INCOME TAX

Must have worked in accounting firm and/or industry

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Prepare state and local corporate income tax returns, state modifications and multi-state allocation and apportionment
- Prepare state and local corporate income tax quarterly estimates and extensions
- Assist with preparation and review of qtrly/annual state and local tax income tax provision
- Assist with state and local corporate income tax research analysis
- Assist with the monitoring of legislation and regulatory development

Assist with the implementation of process improvements and data automation

**Preferred Skills**
- Working knowledge of compliance software systems - CorpTax preferred
- Solid understanding of research platforms (e.g., Intelliconnect, BNA, RIA)
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure to ensure deadlines are met

Detail oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
