**Job Summary**:
Advantal Technologies is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented **Network Administrator** to assist in the day-to-day management and support of our network infrastructure. This entry-level position is ideal for someone starting their career in IT networking and looking to grow their skills in a dynamic environment. You will support senior staff in maintaining the performance, security, and reliability of our local and wide area networks.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software.
- Monitor network performance and help identify and troubleshoot basic connectivity issues.
- Provide first-level support for network-related user issues, including Wi-Fi, VPN, and access control.
- Support the management of network tools and services such as DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
- Help maintain network documentation, including diagrams, asset lists, and change logs.
- Perform routine network maintenance and system updates under guidance.
- Participate in system backups, patching, and disaster recovery testing.
- Collaborate with IT team members to implement new technologies and improve network efficiency.

**Requirements**:
**Education & Experience**:

- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in network administration, IT support, or a related technical role (internships count).

**Technical Skills**:

- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (IP addressing, subnetting, routing, switching).
- Familiarity with network equipment (e.g., routers, switches, access points).
- Understanding of Windows and/or Linux environments.
- Exposure to network monitoring and ticketing systems is a plus.
- Coursework or certifications such as **CompTIA Network+**, **Cisco CCNA (in progress or completed)** is a strong advantage.

**Soft Skills**:

- Strong desire to learn and develop professionally.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently or with supervision.
- Team-oriented with a proactive attitude.

**Working Conditions**:

- May require lifting and moving hardware (switches, routers, etc.).
- Willingness to work flexible hours if needed (e.g., for maintenance windows).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,086.00 - ₹22,960.42 per month
