Actuarial Trainees
We are seeking 2-3 actuarial trainees to join our Actuarial team dedicated to Cigna’s Europe and Global Segment (EGS) business. The role will be based in Bengaluru but will be part of the European team.
The team is involved several interesting and exciting projects for the business - Product design, Pricing, Experience analysis, Valuation, Capital modelling and many more.

What are we looking for?
We’re looking for talented, ambitious, and hard-working students to join the team of Actuarial experts. To succeed in this role, you need to:

- Be proficient with numbers - can analyse and interpret data.
- Willing to continue Actuarial studies and qualify as an Actuary from Institute of Actuaries of India or Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK
- Have a good communication skill
- Good computer skills
- working knowledge with Microsoft Office, especially Excel,
- having experience in working with database tools, like SQL, or workflow tool like “Alteryx” will be an advantage
- programming skills in VBA or R will be very useful

What will you do on a typical day?

**In a typical day, you will help the team in**:

- Extracting data from various policy admin system using tools like SAS, R.
- Analyse the extracted data for various exercises, like experience study, setting assumptions.
- Support the team in Regulatory and Internal business reporting.
- Support the business in making appropriate decisions by providing the insight based on the company’s or external data.
