**Job Title**: Lab Assistant

**Educational**: B.Sc Chemistry, M.ScChemistry

**Note**: Only B.Sc & M.Sc Students can apply

**Salary**: 12k

Key Responsibilities:
**1. Sample Preparation & Testing**
- Collect and prepare raw material, in-process, and finished product samples for testing.
- Conduct routine physical and chemical tests (e.g., carbon content analysis, ash content, hardness, porosity, moisture levels).
- Assist in operating lab instruments like spectrometers, moisture analyzers, and density meters.

**2. Quality Control & Compliance**
- Ensure all testing procedures comply with industry standards (ISO, ASTM, etc.).
- Document test results accurately and report deviations to the supervisor.
- Assist in calibration and maintenance of lab equipment.

**3. Lab Maintenance & Safety**
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
- Dispose of lab waste as per regulatory guidelines.

**4. Data Recording & Reporting**
- Maintain detailed records of all tests and quality control checks.
- Prepare test reports and assist in compiling quality assurance documentation.

**5. Research & Development Support (If Applicable)**
- Assist in developing new testing methods for product improvement.
- Support R&D teams in analyzing new raw materials or process modifications.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Education: Diploma/Degree in Chemistry, Material Science, or related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years in a similar role (preferably in a carbon, graphite, or related manufacturing industry).
- Technical Skills:

- Knowledge of lab testing equipment and techniques.
- Understanding of material properties (carbon, graphite, activated carbon).
- Familiarity with industry standards and safety protocols.
- Soft Skills:

- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
