Job Location

**Responsibilities:

- **
- Conduct crew audits to assess SMS knowledge.
- Inspect vessels for ISM Code compliance.
- Regularly prepare HSE presentations and safety bulletins.
- Monitor and ensure timely investigations by counterparties.
- Ensure implementation and follow-up of preventive actions by counterparties.
- Assist in developing and updating Company procedures and standards, including Safety Management System (SMS), ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Oversee the safe and efficient operation of Tanker vessels, ensuring compliance with regulations, industry practices, and company policies.
- Provide technical guidance to vessel crews on Tanker operations, navigation, safety, and emergency response.
- Assist in developing and implementing safe working practices, policies, and procedures for Tanker operations.
- Conduct incident investigations and provide recommendations for safety enhancement.
- Collect and process information about accidents/incidents fleet-wide, assessing the investigation process.
- Ensure effective implementation of ISM Code, Company policies, standards, and procedures on vessels through inspections and audits.
- Attend vessels and assist during critical third-party inspections as per Company requests.
- Monitor reporting from ships and maintain control over the performance of allocated vessels.
- Support office employees in navigation and cargo handling matters.
- Participate in emergency response and crisis management.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 12 months of senior rank **sea service** on **Tanker vessels**.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
- Extensive knowledge of **Tanker vessel** operations, safety protocols, and international regulations.
- Proven track record in managing vessel operations, including maintenance, navigation, and emergency response.
- Familiarity with industry best practices, standards, and class society rules for **Tanker vessels**.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a dynamic environment.
- Teamwork orientation.
- Regularly prepare HSE presentations, safety bulletins. Bachelor's in maritime and Management CoC holder.
- Shore-based HSE superintendent/specialist experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of safety management systems, risk assessment methodologies, incident investigation processes, and statistical review.
- Knowledge and understanding of applicable industry standards, guidelines, and codes.
- Proficiency in **oil tanker cargo operations**.
