Introduction: What will you be doing? - To provide end-to-end ETL Design solutions and support Architecture in defining strategies - Leading team of designers and developers - To understand the overall purpose of the projects and contribute to requirements & data analysis, and provide solutions from an ETL perspective - Understanding of agile development methodology and practice it in day to day work - Contribute to cost and effort estimation - Design and implement ETL solutions with massively parallel processing architecture. - Lead story based development & unit test and adherence to all coding standards - Delivery of low level design documents with ETL strategy, standards and adhering to ETL principles & policies - Provide approval and oversight to requirement documents as entry criteria to design and development - Hands-on support to build and development team for issue resolution and completion - Accountable for closure of any design and build related queries/issues - Leading a team of designers/developers working on one or multiple projects of varying complexity, undertaking the following activities, maintaining overall accountability for the work of the team in terms of quality and timeliness of delivery - Strong understanding of ETL, Ab Initio, Real Time processing and Mongo design with functional and non-functional assessment for global implementations - Ensure delivery of high quality code that achieves consistently high code quality and test coverage ratings - Report progress in JIRA against assigned activities in a timely manner. - Be supportive within the team, both technically and culturally. What we’re looking for: - Ab>Initio (batch and real-time), Mongo DB, BigData - Hadoop, SQL, Oracle & Teradata, Unix basics and shell scripting - 7+ years of experience in ETL development, design, and implementation of medium to large enterprise projects having moderate to high complexity, with Team/ module leading experience - Data Modelling basics, Data Architecture basics - Databases - Both Traditional Relational DBMS & NoSQL. - Strong skills on ETL design patterns and data warehouse architecture - Hands on Job Scheduling - Requirement gathering & Analysis and other SDLC phases.
