
Internship Nurse

Responsibilities:
- Assist registered nurses and healthcare professionals in providing direct patient care services.
- Participate in patient assessments, including vital signs monitoring, physical exams, and medical history documentation.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments under the supervision and guidance of licensed nurses.
- Perform basic medical procedures, such as wound care, specimen collection, and catheterization, while adhering to established protocols.
- Assist in patient education by providing information on medication usage, post-treatment care, and disease management.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including electronic health records (EHR) documentation.
- Ensure compliance with infection control measures, safety protocols, and regulatory standards in patient care activities.
- Participate in educational sessions, training programs, and clinical simulations to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and empathy in patient interactions.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program (e.g., ADN, BSN) or recent graduate within the past year.
- Possess a valid nursing assistant certification (CNA) or equivalent clinical experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team and adapt to dynamic patient care environments.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology, patient assessment, medication administration, and infection control practices.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer skills for documentation and communication.
- Commitment to professional growth, learning, and development as a nursing intern.
