**Electrical Maintenance**:

- Maintain and repair all electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, switchboards, sockets, and wiring.
- Troubleshoot faults in electrical circuits, appliances, and hospital machinery (e.g., autoclaves, elevators, suction machines).
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply, including generator and UPS systems.

**Preventive Maintenance**:

- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems and record findings.
- Carry out preventive maintenance on all hospital equipment as per schedule.
- Check and ensure emergency lights, alarms, and fire safety electrical systems are functional.

**Generator & UPS**:

- Operate and maintain diesel generator sets.
- Monitor UPS systems for continuous power supply to critical areas like ICUs, OTs, and labs.
- Maintain fuel levels and log generator run hours.

**Compliance & Safety**:

- Ensure all electrical work complies with hospital safety standards and local electrical codes.
- Use proper PPE while working and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
- Report hazards or unsafe equipment immediately to the supervisor.

**Support Services**:

- Assist in setting up new electrical points or equipment as needed in wards, operation theatres, etc.
- Provide on-call support for emergency electrical breakdowns.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- ITI/Diploma in Electrical or equivalent.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in hospital or facility maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of LT panels, earthing, wiring, generators, and hospital equipment.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot systems.
- Physically fit and able to work under pressure and emergency calls.

**Working Conditions**:

- Shift-based duty, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays if required.
- Working in indoor and outdoor hospital environments.
