Position Title: Sector Expert (S&T)

Job Type: Full Time

Key Qualifications/Requirements:
Graduate Degree in Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering with minimum experience of 7 years or Diploma in Electronics Engineering with minimum 10 years in execution of Construction projects of railway / metro /Any SPV with Ministry of Railways / RVNL/RITES/IRCON/ DFCCIL / Multi Modal Transport hub / Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) / High Speed Rail (HSR) / monorail.
(ii)At least 10 years’ experience in SE/SSE or equivalent Grade and above of S&T department of Railways and / or as AM and above in S&T department in RITES/IRCON/RVNL or equivalent grade in Konkan Railway / MRVC / DFCCIL/ any JVs or SPVs with Ministry of Railways, any Metro Rail Corporation either individually or combined.

Job Descriptions:

- Oversee the execution and installation of signaling and telecommunication (S&T) systems in railway and metro construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including Railway Authorities, Metro Corporations, and Infrastructure Development Agencies for approvals and execution.
- Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electronic and instrumentation systems.
- Review technical designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure seamless implementation.
- Provide solutions for technical challenges in signaling, telecommunication, SCADA, and automation systems.
- Ensure timely execution of projects by coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, including civil and electrical engineering departments.
- Monitor and manage project progress, resource allocation, and budget adherence.
- Prepare and present technical reports, project documentation, and status updates to senior management.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and site teams on S&T system installations, safety protocols, and quality standards.

Preferred Skills & Competencies:

- Expertise in Railway & Metro signaling systems, telecommunication networks, SCADA, and automation technologies.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards such as RDSO, CENELEC, and SIL certifications.
- Proficiency in design, installation, testing, and commissioning of electronic & instrumentation systems in railway/metro projects.
- Familiarity with modern railway signaling technologies like ETCS, CBTC, TPWS, and Automatic Train Control (ATC).
- Ability to manage large-scale infrastructure projects and work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address on-site challenges.
- Excellent leadership, team coordination, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of contract management, quality control, and safety regulations.
