Radiology technicians, technologists, and sonographers fall within the broad scope of a **radiography**profession. Using radiation in the form of x-rays, magnetic resonance imaging, and ultrasound, radiographers assess, diagnose, and treat patients for a variety of injuries and diseases.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Assess patients and their clinical requirements to work out which radiographic techniques to use
- Perform a range of radiographic examinations on patients to produce high-quality images
- Take responsibility for radiation safety in your work area, including checking equipment for malfunctions and errors
- Manage referrals to ensure patients receive a radiation dose as low as reasonably possible
- Supervise visiting staff and patients in radiation work areas
- Help in more complex radiological examinations, working with doctors such as radiologists and surgeons
- Provide support and reassurance to patients, taking into account their physical and psychological needs
- Supervise radiography and imaging support assistants
- Keep up to date with health and safety guidelines, including ionising radiation regulations, to protect yourself and others.

**Qualifications & Skills**

1. Must have a B.Sc / Diploma in Radiology Technology.

2. Required 4-6 Years of experience in 1.5 T MRI /128 Slice CT, HF XRAY, TMT, ECHO in a Hospital / Diagnostic Centre

3. Able to operate sophisticated computer equipment

4. Strong interest in scientific and technical skill and knowledge

5. Able to interact compassionately and effectively with the sick or injured

6. Able to communicate effectively

7. Able to perform well independently

8. Able to follow detailed instructions

9. Exact and precise

10. Highly self-motivated

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
