**About Us**:
Trishan School of Music is committed to nurturing musical talent and inspiring a lifelong love for music in students of all ages. We are seeking a skilled and passionate Guitar Teacher to join our team and guide students in mastering the art of guitar playing and related instruments.

**Job Summary**:
As a Guitar Teacher, you will teach students to play acoustic and electric guitars while also covering classical guitar techniques, ukulele, and sight reading.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct lessons for beginners, intermediate, and advanced-level students.
- Teach both acoustic and electric guitar, incorporating a variety of styles and techniques.
- Provide instruction in classical guitar techniques and introduce students to the ukulele.
- Teach sight reading, music notation, and theory to help students develop well-rounded musical skills.
- Develop customized lesson plans to match each student’s learning goals and abilities.
- Help students improve rhythm, fingerpicking, chord progressions, and performance skills.
- Prepare students for performances, exams, or competitions as needed.
- Create an engaging and supportive learning environment for students of all ages.
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in playing and teaching acoustic and electric guitar.
- Knowledge of classical guitar techniques and the ability to teach ukulele.
- Strong understanding of sight reading and music theory with the ability to teach these effectively.
- Previous teaching experience with individuals or groups is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and a passion for inspiring students to learn and grow.
- Ability to work with students of varying age groups and skill levels.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Degree or certification in music, guitar performance, or related fields is an advantage.
- Knowledge of additional instruments is a bonus.
