AS DRAFTMAN will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for civil engineering projects. Collaborating closely with engineers and architects, you will translate conceptual designs into precise CAD drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, pipelines, and buildings.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and incorporate design changes.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Revise and update drawings based on feedback and project modifications.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
- Conduct site visits to gather necessary information for accurate drafting.
- Assist in preparing project reports, cost estimates, and documentation.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software; knowledge of other design tools like Revit or Civil 3D is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction methods.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
- Ability to interpret and work with complex technical drawings and specifications.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in India.
- Experience in drafting for infrastructure projects such as highways, bridges, and water systems.
- Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) concepts.
