**Job Title: Talk Show EDITOR**

**Location: Noida, onsite**

**Employment Type: Full-time**

**Creative Visual Designs**:
The editor will play a pivotal role in crafting visually appealing and engaging promotional materials. This includes designing eye-catching flyers to promote upcoming episodes and creating attention-grabbing thumbnail designs for YouTube videos. The editor will use their creative skills and attention to detail to ensure that each promotional material effectively communicates the content and attracts viewers. They will collaborate closely with the host and other team members to align the visual elements with the show's branding and messaging. The editor's contributions will be instrumental in enhancing the show's online presence and attracting a wider audience.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Editing**: Edit raw footage to produce high-quality episodes of our talk show, with a focus on news-related content, adhering to established style guidelines and journalistic standards.
- **Storytelling**: Collaborate with producers and other team members to craft compelling narratives and story arcs for each episode, incorporating relevant news topics and current events.
- **Sound Design**: Enhance audio quality and incorporate sound effects and music to create a dynamic and immersive listening experience, while ensuring clarity in dialogue and interviews.
- **Visual Effects**: Implement visual effects and graphics as needed to enhance the overall production value of the show, including lower thirds, overlays, and relevant imagery.
- **Quality Control**: Conduct thorough reviews of edited content to ensure accuracy, fairness, and compliance with editorial policies and industry standards.
- **Deadline Management**: Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, especially in the fast-paced environment of news production.
- **Collaboration**: Communicate effectively with team members to brainstorm ideas, provide feedback, and ensure alignment on creative direction, while also collaborating with news editors to ensure consistency in storytelling and messaging.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance editing techniques and workflows, while also seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement in the production process.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in journalism, film, media production, or a related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of professional editing experience, with a focus on news channel content.
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced news environment, with the ability to handle tight deadlines and breaking news situations.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer, with a strong understanding of editing techniques and best practices.
- Excellent storytelling skills and a keen understanding of narrative structure, with the ability to craft compelling stories from raw footage and interviews.
- Strong understanding of audio editing techniques and sound design principles, with the ability to ensure clear and impactful audio in the final product.
- Experience with motion graphics and visual effects software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and fairness in journalism.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
