**Key Responsibilities of an Accounts Intern**:

- **Assisting in Financial Record-Keeping**:

- Help maintain accurate records of transactions, invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Enter financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets under supervision.
- **Accounts Payable and Receivable**:

- Assist with processing invoices and payments.
- Help track and manage outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments.
- **Bank Reconciliation**:

- Support in reconciling bank statements with company records.
- Help identify and resolve discrepancies between financial records and bank statements.
- **General Ledger Maintenance**:

- Assist with posting journal entries and ensuring transactions are recorded in the correct accounts.
- Help track and update the general ledger for accuracy.
- **Preparing Financial Statements**:

- Assist with the preparation of basic financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- **Data Entry and Documentation**:

- Support the team with accurate and efficient data entry tasks.
- Maintain well-organized files and documents for easy access and retrieval.
- **Tax Preparation Assistance**:

- Help with the collection of data needed for tax returns.
- Assist in preparing and organizing documents for tax filing.
- **Assisting with Audits**:

- Provide support during internal or external audits by preparing necessary documents and reports.
- Help with the collection of financial information required by auditors.
- **Assist in Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Support in gathering and analyzing data for budgeting purposes.
- Help prepare reports on financial forecasts and performance analysis.
- **Research and Reporting**:

- Conduct research on accounting trends, policies, or regulatory changes.
- Assist in generating reports for various financial analysis purposes.

Pay: From ₹8,086.00 per month
