Job Title: Housekeeping Staff

Location: Gurugram

Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager

Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Staff is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for hotel guests. They perform various cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the overall cleanliness and orderliness of the hotel premises.

Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning and Maintenance:

- Clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas according to established standards.
- Make beds, change linens, and replenish guest room amenities.
- Vacuum, mop, and dust floors, carpets, and furniture.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and restrooms.
- Empty trash containers and replace liners.
- Maintain and clean all equipment and storage areas.

Guest Service:

- Provide a friendly and helpful demeanor to guests and respond to guest requests or inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues in guest rooms to the maintenance department or housekeeping supervisor.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and amenities are well-stocked and report any shortages to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
- Handle and store cleaning chemicals and supplies in a safe and responsible manner.

Compliance and Safety:

- Adhere to hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Report any safety hazards, accidents, or incidents to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
- Follow appropriate security and key control procedures.

Teamwork:

- Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficiency and cleanliness throughout the hotel.
- Assist with training and orientation of new staff members as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel setting is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and cleaning products.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry objects, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and guidelines.

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Night shift
- Rotational shift

**Experience**:

- Housekeeping: 1 year (preferred)
