Key responsibilities of a video editor:

- **Organizing footage**: Reviewing and selecting the best takes from raw footage shot by a camera crew.
- **Cutting and sequencing**: Arranging video clips in a logical order to create a narrative structure.
- **Adding sound elements**: Incorporating music, sound effects, voiceovers, and dialogue to enhance the video.
- **Color correction**: Adjusting the color balance and grading to improve the visual quality.
- **Adding visual effects**: Utilizing editing software to create transitions, graphics, and special effects.
