_**Job Description - EDP Executive**_

**Opening : 1**

**Experience : 3 - 5 years.**

**Pay Range : 20000 - 25000 per month.**

**Location : Vastrapur.**

**Key Responsibilities -**_**EDP Executive**_**.**

**User Management**:

- Create, manage, and maintain user accounts and access permissions.
- Generate and distribute user credentials and ensure secure password management.
- Provide user support and training on system usage.

**Server Management**:

- Install, configure, and manage network policy servers and other critical server infrastructure.
- Perform proactive network and server monitoring and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues promptly.
- Implement and maintain server security measures, including access control, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Configure and manage server domains and user access.

**Assets Management**:

- Conduct hardware verification and inventory management, including HOQ, RAM, processors, and other components.
- Manage and maintain a wide range of IT assets, including CCTV cameras, xerox machines, printers, plotters, scanners, TVs, Wi-Fi devices, biometric devices, cellphones, and EPBX devices.
- Perform hardware assembly and disassembly as needed.
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleaning of computer hardware and software.
- Manage software licensing and compliance.

**Network Management**:

- Design, implement, and maintain the organization's LAN infrastructure.
- Ensure seamless LAN connectivity for all users.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Manage network security and implement appropriate security protocols.

**On-Call Support and Technical Assistance**:

- Provide timely and effective on-call support to address user issues and system failures.
- Collaborate with the EDP team to resolve complex technical problems.
- Analyze user requirements and provide appropriate IT solutions.

**Technology Evaluation and Implementation**:

- Research and evaluate new technologies to enhance IT operations and efficiency.
- Identify and recommend new technologies for implementation.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in EDP technologies.

**Continuous Improvement**:

- Continually update technical knowledge and skills through training, workshops, and self-study.
- Implement best practices for IT management and security.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other professionals to achieve organizational goals.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field.
- 3 - 5 years experience in managing EDP systems and IT infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of server administration, network management, and software development.
- Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) are a plus.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
