**Job Responsibilities of a Store Assistant on a Construction Site**:

- **Material Receiving & Verification**:

- Receive materials, tools, and equipment delivered to the site.
- Check the quantity and quality against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged items to the Storekeeper or Site Manager.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Maintain proper records of incoming and outgoing stock.
- Organize and label materials systematically.
- Update stock registers or software regularly to reflect real-time inventory levels.
- **Issuance of Materials**:

- Issue materials to site workers or supervisors as per requisition slips.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of items issued and returned.
- **Stock Control & Reordering**:

- Monitor stock levels and alert the Storekeeper/Site Engineer when reordering is needed.
- Help avoid overstocking or understocking of essential items.
- **Safety & Housekeeping**:

- Ensure proper storage of materials to prevent damage, theft, or safety hazards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the storage area.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, or monthly stock reports.
- Maintain documentation for audits and inspections.
- **Coordination**:

- Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and the purchase department.
- Communicate with site engineers and supervisors regarding material requirements.
- **Support Site Activities**:

- Assist in loading and unloading materials.
- Provide logístical support to various departments as required.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
