We are currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Sewing Machine Mechanic to join our dynamic team at Jin Nai Apparel.

**Position Overview**: A sewing machine mechanic specializes in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various types of sewing machines. They ensure that sewing machines operate efficiently, minimizing downtime in production environments and extending the lifespan of the equipment.

**General Management**:

- Regularly inspect sewing machines to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks like oiling, cleaning, and adjusting parts to prevent breakdowns.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure machines are properly calibrated for optimal performance.
- Identify and diagnose mechanical or electrical issues in sewing machines.
- Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, belts, needles, tension mechanisms, and control systems.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new sewing machines, ensuring they are correctly configured for specific tasks.
- Provide technical support to sewing machine operators, including guidance on machine use and minor adjustments.
- Manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools required for repairs.
- Order new parts when needed and keep records of replacements and repairs.
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs, maintenance tasks, and machine settings.
- Ensure machines meet safety standards and guidelines.
- Follow safety protocols during repairs and maintenance.

- Middle school educational qualification.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years hands on experience in repairing of sewing machine

**Skills**:

- Strong understanding of sewing machine components, including motors, gears, needles, and tension mechanisms.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues with sewing machines, both mechanical and electronic.

**Language**: English and local language

**Others**:
Willing to travel for work

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Shift:

- Day shift

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Mechanic: 2 years (required)
