Housekeeping Supervisor

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the property.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and service areas to ensure compliance with established cleanliness standards.
- Train new housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and the use of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock is maintained.
- Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations and enhance the overall guest experience.
- Prepare reports on housekeeping activities, including staff performance, inventory usage, and maintenance needs.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hotel or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- A thorough understanding of cleaning procedures, products, and equipment used in the hospitality sector.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required by operational needs.
