**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the director to create the visual style and look for each project.
- Lead the camera department.
- Select and manage cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and other visual tools for production.
- Ensure visual consistency, colour grading, and the quality of shots.
- Operate cameras when necessary and adjust settings to achieve the desired effect.
- Work on set to direct lighting, framing, and camera angles to achieve the best shot composition.
- Stay up to date on new technology and techniques in cinematography.

**Academic Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Cinematography or related field (preferred but not mandatory).

**Skills**:

- Expert knowledge of camera systems (e.g., Nikon, Canon, Sony).
- Strong technical proficiency in lighting, colour theory, and shot composition.
- Familiarity with camera equipment, lenses, filters, and stabilizers.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the director, production crew, and other departments.
- A keen eye for detail and visual aesthetics.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of advanced cinematography techniques (e.g., green screen, motion control, drone shots) (preferred but not mandatory).
- Adaptability to different genres (e.g., narrative, commercial, documentary) (preferred).

**Experience**:

- 3+ years of professional experience as a Director of Photography.
- A portfolio demonstrating high-quality work in various projects (e.g., feature films, commercials, documentaries).
- Experience working with different filming environments (e.g., studio, outdoor, international shoots).
- Proven experience in leading a camera crew and managing on-set operations.
- Experience in collaborating with post-production teams to ensure visual quality.
