**Job Title**: Video Editor

**Position Type**: Full-time

**Experience**: 1 to 2 Years

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Edit video footage, including but not limited to interviews, product demos, promotional content, and social media clips.
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and other creative team members to understand the vision and goals for each project.
- Assemble raw footage into a cohesive story while adhering to the project's style and tone.
- Ensure video content meets quality standards and project deadlines.
- Add visual effects, graphics, sound, and transitions as needed.
- Maintain an organized file management system to keep footage and project files structured.
- Assist with color grading, audio mixing, and ensuring optimal video playback quality.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and software updates to ensure your skills are aligned with best practices.
- Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions and creative discussions.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Video Editor (portfolio or demo reel required).
- Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Familiarity with motion graphics and animation software (e.g., After Effects) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and optimization for different platforms.
- Excellent storytelling and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or a related field.
- Experience with social media content creation (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook etc.).
- Knowledge of color grading, sound design, and visual effects.
- Experience with remote or distributed team collaboration tools.
