InfoAnalytica Consulting is looking for a Data Scientist to join our Business Analytics & Data Management Practices at Ahmedabad. You will support our Products, Business Analytics, Marketing and Leadership teams with insights gained from analyzing large data sets.

You should be adept at leveraging your analytical, statistical and programming skills to collect, analyze and interpret large datasets to find actionable and using models and data mining/analysis methods to find opportunities for products and business analytics teams. You should have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders and teams to improve business outcomes.

**The key aspects of this role**:

- Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new and existing data sources and, data gathering techniques
- Use predictive and propensity modeling and, churn analysis to increase and optimize targeting, conversion possibilities, revenue generation and other business outcomes
- Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy
- Develop testing framework and test model quality
- Present information using data visualization techniques
- Coordinate with different functional teams and client teams to implement models and monitor outcomes

**Required skills and experience**:

- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasize on product development
- Experience using statistical compute languages (R, Python, SQL, Hive, Pig, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large datasets
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as; Hadoop, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc. and web services
- Knowledge of variety of machine learning techniques and algorithms (clustering, decision tree learning, Decision Forests, artificial neural networks, etc.)
- Experience and familiarity with Data Visualization and Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau, D3.js is plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams
- Demonstrated drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in data mining, data science and/or statistical analysis and executing data models
- Has a Master’s OR PhD in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science OR another quantitative field
