**The team you'll be part of**

The Customer Experience organization provides a common interface to customers including account and relationship management, acting as the voice of the customer internally and creating demand across our business groups. While bringing deep understanding of local markets for our customer, the CX organization ensures strong alignment between sales and delivery teams.

**What you will learn and contribute to**

As part of our team, you will:

- Discuss with requesters to understand their needs and find the best way to address their needs with development team
- Define the priortization of feature requests and should be treated first, to maximize the value of the tool
- Write tickets on jira and make sure the backlog is organized correctly (see previous point)
- Lead the meetings with the dev team according to scum (planning, mid-sprint, retrospective, backlog refining meeting weekly)
- Writing specifications for the feature requests that require it
- Explain specifications to dev team to make sure everything is clear
- Write acceptance tests & perform them
- Use the tool, try all kinds of cases, see if anything doesn’t make sense
- Suggest improvement for the tool (for this, previous point is important)
- Understand what happens if existing tests start failing, as the developer don’t have the telecom knowledge required in some cases
- Update user documentation (wiki) for each new feature/change
- Provide support to users on a daily basis
- Provide support to dev team on a daily basis: when something is not clear they contact the product owner
- Make sure everything is ok when a new release happens

**Your skills and experience**

You have:

- Good communication skills. To be able to communicate and avoid misunderstanding with users, features requesters and dev team.
- Being meticulous and organized is very important for this position: you need to be capable to get your work done while being interrupted several times per day (users and developers need your help and you should not make them wait, the product owner should be a facilitator, not a bottleneck)
- Spider knowledge is VERY nice to have. Spider has a lot of features and assimilating everything takes a lot of time. User often contact me for question/support/requests and it’s the product owner role to be “the spider expert” that can provide support.
- Knowledge of scrum/agile methodology is nice-to-have
- Product owner experience with another project is nice-to-have (jira knowledge is nice-to-have too, but not so hard to learn)
- Software development experience is plus, it helps to understand the view of the dev team, but is not mandatory at all.
