**What you need to know about this position**:

- The Cloud technology architect serves as expert in the public cloud platform. The role supports all the hybrid Cloud capability.
- Create technology architecture patterns that can be re-use across multiple initiatives, which will be part of architecture framework.

**What extra ingredients you will bring**:

- Develop and maintain Hybrid cloud architecture approaches. Including technology standard, road map and service model to deliver highly standardized, scalable, and cost-effective service.
- Develop company's cloud architecture, includes design and deployment framework.
- Create and maintain re-usable architecture patterns and respective artifacts
- Observe emerging technology to promote new services/enhancement. Identify cost optimization opportunity
- Solutions Operationalization & Integration - Ensure all technology architecture has the required performance, scalability and operability based on industry standards.
- Take a leadership role in projects during architecture / solution design phase. Provide consultancy during implementation and service optimization initiatives.
- Takes an active role in the Enterprise Architecture team to work with other functional architects to ensure integration of standards and guidelines
- Partner with strategic vendors to align product roadmaps with MDLZ architectural needs
- Contributes to decisions on key technology purchases to align IT investments with business strategies, while reducing risk and delivering adaptive solutions.
- Responsible for observing emerging Cloud related technology and trends. Responsible for promoting and carrying out pilots of such technologies.

**Education / Certifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field of study, or equivalent experience. Master’s degree is preferred.

**Job specific requirements**:

- Strong background in public Cloud platform architecture / Design. Included but not limit to IaaS / PaaS / Cloud native function / Cloud Networking / Storage and disaster recovery approach.
- 7+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure Functions (Including Operations, Delivery and Architecture
- Ability to create highly flexible and reusable architecture design / Solution to delivery high degree of business value.
- Ability to manage implmentation resrouces and provide consultants.
- Experience in define consistent approach, deliver robust architecture that can be leveraged to provide a competitive advantage.
- Knowledge of holistic technology architecture, with focus on public cloud platform
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.
- Strong leadership skills. Able to influence others based on earned respect and experience.
- Excellent analytical and technical skills.

10% travel needed
