Job Description: Data Science Internship

**Responsibilities**:
Collaborate with the data science team to assist in designing and implementing data-driven solutions to business challenges.

Conduct data analysis, data cleaning, and preprocessing tasks to ensure data quality and accuracy.

Assist in developing and maintaining predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical models.

Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights to support decision-making processes.

Support the team in extracting meaningful information from large and complex datasets using various data mining and visualization techniques.

Help in developing and evaluating metrics to measure the effectiveness of data science models and algorithms.

Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science methodologies, tools, and technologies.

Document and present findings, methodologies, and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven insights.

Contribute to the development and improvement of internal data science tools, frameworks, and workflows.

Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related disciplines.

Strong understanding of statistical concepts and experience with statistical analysis.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar languages commonly used in data science.

Familiarity with data manipulation and analysis libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.

Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques for classification, regression, clustering, and feature selection.

Experience with data visualization tools and libraries such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Tableau.

Solid understanding of database concepts and experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.

Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.

**Job Types**: Fresher, Internship
Contract length: 3 - 6 months

**Salary**: ₹5,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
