**Responsibilities**:

- **Food Preparation**: Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure all dishes are consistently prepared and served according to the café's recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.
- **Menu Development**: Assist in developing new menu items and specials based on seasonal availability and customer demand.
- **Kitchen Operations**: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- **Stock Management**: Monitor and manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with café staff to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service.
- **Adherence to Regulations**: Comply with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Cook in a café, restaurant, or similar environment.
- Solid understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Culinary school diploma or equivalent certification is a plus.
