**Job Description: Content Writer**

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
1.**Content Development**:

- Create compelling, SEO-optimized content for blogs, articles, website pages, product descriptions, and more.
- Generate creative content for social media platforms, including captions, posts, and campaign ideas, aligned with current trends.
- Develop video scripts for promotional, explainer, and educational videos.

2.**SEO Optimization**:

- Implement SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and content structure.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content ranks well in search engines and drives organic traffic.

3.**Content Strategy**:

- Contribute to content strategy by brainstorming innovative ideas for various formats and platforms.
- Ensure content aligns with Mere Mentor’s brand voice, messaging, and objectives.

4.**Research & Analysis**:

- Conduct in-depth research on topics related to education, career guidance, and student development.
- Use credible sources to produce unique and insightful content that adds value to the target audience.

5.**Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the product, marketing, and business development teams to understand content requirements and deliver accordingly.
- Coordinate with designers to ensure visuals and content are cohesive and impactful.

6.**Content Review & Editing**:

- Proofread and edit content for clarity, grammar, and consistency.
- Continuously improve content based on performance analytics and feedback.

**Key Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in content writing with a strong portfolio of SEO-optimized content.
- Proven experience in creating social media content and video scripts.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to produce unique, well-researched content.
- Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
- Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and social media trends.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Knowledge of graphic design basics to support visual content creation.
- Understanding of performance metrics and content optimization strategies.
