Scrum Master

We are looking for an all-rounder Scrum professional who will ensure a common vision for a product and maximize the value delivered through setting, prioritizing, and accepting the work generated by the development team.
The Scrum Master will gather feature requests, schedule releases, and coordinate sprints. They will interface with the business stakeholders to identify user needs, help stakeholders understand the business value, and work with cross-functional teams to manage product releases.
The Scrum Master role is important as they are responsible for the delivery of a product that realizes our vision and satisfies the needs of the customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Scheduling and facilitating scrum events, meetings, and decision-making processes.
- Organizes the use of Agile/Scrum practices and values; supports the Product Owner, especially with respect to refining and managing the product backlog
- Help the scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework
- Generate and analyze metrics to monitor and improve the team's velocity, software quality, and efficiency
- Enact change & continuous improvement to increase the productivity and efficiency of the team and the quality of deliverables
- Remove impediments in a timely manner and detect hidden problems

**Requirements**:

- 4+ years of experience as a scrum master or in a similar role.
- Ability to remove impediments for the team and to be able to deliver value as planned
- A Scrum Master Certification, SAFe Certification or equivalent
- Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban, Rally, Jira), SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
- Good understanding of Agile Backlog management techniques (Story splitting, Sizing, Mapping)
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) models as well as, in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices, and technical knowledge of Java, C, and.Net
- A focused approach to problem-solving must include flexibility while maintaining keeping focus on priorities defined by the overall impact
- Identify and reports progress via appropriate metrics
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- BTech/MTech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

**Preferred Qualifications (nice to have)**:

- Experience working in the Insurance or e-commerce domain
- Experience working in a consulting environment
