**About Risk Modeling Utility** Risk Modeling Utility is a centralized Risk function that supports Citi Retail Services (RS) organization, a leading U.S. Retail Cards business, with a 40%+ market share and greater than $40B in receivables and U.S. Branded Cards Line of Business with over $50B in receivables. Products provided by these platforms include financing, transaction, and payment solutions that augment Partners’ existing marketing and sales strategies. These products serve to enhance Partner sales through direct integration with Partner branding, marketing and data management. **Responsibilities**: - This position is part of the Global Risk Modeling Utility group and provides Strategic Analytics support primarily to the Branded Cards and CRS portfolios. - Partner with Branded Cards policy and CRS policy team members to understand the existing credit landscape and enhance existing strategy by exploring big data, US consumer trends, peer bank performance, on-us and off-us customer behavior, Credit Bureau reporting attributes, etc. - Produce executive monthly reports and commentary, uncovering risk trends versus peer groups to provide risk-based actionable insights. - Perform ad-hoc analysis to identify the impact of Bureau reporting changes, consumer behavior changes, macroeconomic environment and other external factors on new bookings and existing customer performance. - Test alternative data sources, interpret and relate findings to existing credit policies, present outcomes. **Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Operation Research, or other quantitative discipline. Master’s degree preferred. - 8+ years of work experience required - Must have coding expertise in Python, Hive/Spark, SAS, SQL. - Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite.
