We are looking for a Java Developer to join us In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership to project teams of software architects and engineers. Responsible for all stages of design and development for complex products and platforms, including solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration

**In a typical day as a Java Developer, you would**:

- Responsible for developing reliable, cost effective and high quality software.
- Makes design choices and finalizes the design for new feature development.
- Owns design, coding, unit/functional testing, integration and documentation activities required based on specific objectives and established project guidelines.
- Contributes to test automation.
- Collaborates and communicates with internal/external stakeholders to provide an insight into progress on various activities.
- Represents the software systems engineering team for all phases of larger and more-complex development projects.
- Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.

**What you need to bring**:
**If you are/have...**
- Very good experience with Java, J2EEtechnologiesand scripting languages
- Strong design and development experience in Core Java (Multi-Threading, Algorithms, Data Structures,)
- Very good knowledge of Object-oriented Analysis & Design (OOAD) and Design Patterns
- Good knowledge of Web Services (REST/SOAP/HTTP), XML, JMX, JDBC, JMS, LDAP, Java Security etc
- Working knowledge of databases like Oracle, EnterpriseDB
- Experience with Virtualization and cloud technologies
- Hands-on experience with CICD, DevOps and Agile development methodology
- Experience with telecom BSS/OSS software and good exposure to relevant standards, technology and open sources will be an added advantage
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to analyze and research issues, self-motivated, self-starter, demonstrated team-player.
- Excellent analytical/problem solving and debugging skills

**Education and Experience Required**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
- Typically 8+ years of experience
