**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review and interpret physician prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and drug interactions.
- Provide drug information and education to medical staff and patients.
- Maintain accurate records of all medications dispensed and patient medication histories.
- Ensure proper storage and labelling of medications and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Monitor patient responses to prescribed drug treatments and advise on necessary adjustments.
- Manage pharmaceutical inventory and ensure availability of essential drugs
- Contribute to the development and implementation of hospital drug policies and protocols.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Bachelor degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm or B.Pharm).
- Valid and current license/registration as a pharmacist.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and drug safety.

**Working Conditions**:

- Hospital environment, exposure to medications and occasional hazardous substances.
- May require shifts, weekend, or holiday work depending on hospital operations.
