**Job description**

JOB OBJECTIVE

Support the effective and Efficient function of the Fleet Performance Centre and build up company’s capability to oversee vessel efficiency and performance by establishing and implementing operational standards. Support and guide where needed, to provide the best possible decision support for optimizing the operation of company managed vessels to achieve the desired operational excellence in accordance with relevant legislation, industry best practice, quality standards and company sustainability goals.RESPONSIBILITIESMonitor and optimize the overall performance and energy efficiency of vessels allotted
Constant Engagement with Fleet teams to ensure performance KPI’s and team targets are met and ensure fuel optimization is achieved. Convincing Fleet teams on saving potential of vessels.
Ensures that the BSM Performance Standard is always followed and update it further to increase its scope.
Conduct technical and performance investigations under the guidance of the FPM,E nsuring that problems are resolved through improved modelling, algorithm refinements or added data quality control measures. Make performance evaluation and reports of vessels.
Support in Energy efficiency improvements, enhancements to the system and ensuring constant support and reliable data are given to the fleet teams for effective decision making.
Support the FPM in identifying training requirements, presentations for seminars, liaising with vessels to ensure reporting quality is achieved for efficient data evaluation.
All other delegated tasks as required by the Fleet Performance Manger related to increasing the performance and optimization of the fleet.

Education & Qualifications:
BS/MS, MEng in Mechanical/ Marine Engineering or equivalent

Sailing experience onboard as engineer preferably Class 2 certificate of competency

from shipping industry

little sailing backgrounds

hore exp in vessel performance / fleet performance

from Kerala / ready to move to Kerala : Kochi

Schedule:

- Kochi, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- total work: 1 year (preferred)
