India - Finance - Group Functions **Job Reference #** - 272642BR **City** - Pune **Job Type** - Full Time **Your role** - managing Day to day Indirect tax/GST related compliances - working with tax advisors on indirect tax compliances and manage governance framework - indirect tax - GST returns preparation - Monthly/annual - provide advisory services to business /functions as and when needed and be trusted partner - work closely with business/function/vendors to mitigate any GST risks - working closely with the tax advisors for GST compliances/refund etc - ensuring overall governance of GST compliances across multiple Indian entities of UBS - support in reporting to STPI/SEZ compliances. - support the larger finance team for preparation of financial statements, audits & month end reporting **Your team** - You'll be part of the Finance team of UBS Business Solution India. They are responsible for financial controls and operational tax compliances **Your expertise** - knowledge of Indirect Taxes (GST) etc. - working knowledge of Direct Taxes - exposure to STPI / SEZ provisions would be preferred - prior work experience in Global Inhouse centres of financial services would be preferred - a pragmatic "can do" attitude - a Chartered Accountant with 4-6 years of work experience - prior working experience in GST related compliances - a great communicator, you know how to speak with people at all levels - an expert at building networks and connections - conversant with MS Office & SAP - a team player **About us** - UBS is the world’s largest and only truly global wealth manager.
