**## Responsibilities**
- Design and deliver dynamic Art and Craft lessons for primary/middle/secondary classes, emphasizing technique, creativity, and cultural awareness.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages experimentation and self-expression.
- Assess student progress through portfolios, project-based evaluations, and practical demonstrations.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents, highlighting artistic growth and areas for improvement.
- Organize and coordinate school art exhibitions, competitions, and collaborative projects.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art into interdisciplinary learning (e.g., history, literature, science).
- Maintain art supplies, manage budgets for materials, and ensure a safe, organized workspace.
- Encourage eco-friendly practices (e.g., upcycling) and exposure to diverse art forms (traditional, digital, etc.).

**## Skills**
- Proficiency in diverse art mediums (drawing, painting, sculpture, crafts, digital art).
- Strong knowledge of art history, global artistic traditions, and CBSE art pedagogy.
- Ability to inspire creativity and adapt lessons for varied skill levels.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Tech-savvy (e.g., familiarity with design software, digital art tools).
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a nurturing approach to student development.

**Key qualifications for your role**

- Portfolio demonstrating artistic expertise and student work samples.
- Familiarity with CBSE’s art curriculum and assessment methods.

**What additional criteria are important to the role?**
- Willingness to lead extracurricular clubs (e.g., pottery, mural painting).
- Collaborate on school decor, annual day props, or other creative initiatives.
- Commitment to professional growth through art education conferences/courses.

**Minimum education level**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts/Visual Arts or equivalent.
- B.Ed. (preferred).
