As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also provide outstanding customer service, assisting individuals with questions and concerns while upholding the values of integrity, teamwork, and reliability that define Allied Universal. **What You'll Do**:

- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence within the healthcare location.
- Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site and Allied Universal procedures.
- Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of site policies to help to deter disruptions within the healthcare location.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related issues and support a secure environment.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit is required.
- An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
