**Sports Physiotherapist - Job Description**

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sports Physiotherapist to join our team at
LSBEP to provide injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services for elite badminton players. As the Sports Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall health and fitness of our players and helping them to achieve peak performance on the court. You will work closely with coaches, trainers, and other healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to injury management and prevention.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough assessments of players to identify injuries, imbalances, and other factors that may affect their performance.
- Work with coaches and trainers to develop injury prevention strategies and training programs to reduce the risk of injury and improve performance.
- Provide on-site treatment and rehabilitation services during training sessions and competitions.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, such as sports physicians and orthopaedic specialists, to provide a comprehensive approach to injury management and prevention.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of player injuries and treatment plans.
- Communicate regularly with coaches and trainers to provide updates on player health and progress.
- Provide education to players on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and proper body mechanics to reduce the risk of injury and improve performance.
- Keep up-to-date with current research and techniques in sports physiotherapy to ensure the best possible care for our players.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sports physiotherapy, preferably with elite badminton players.
- Active license to practice physiotherapy.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics related to badminton.
- Experience in injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Passion for sports and helping athletes to achieve their full potential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Master's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Physiotherapy: 3 years (preferred)
