Admission Counsellor

The responsibilities include **advocating for students in school activities, providing classroom advice, academic mentoring, interacting with teachers and parents and collaborating with administrators**.
- _Counselling the parents during the admission period. _
- _Following leads for positive targeted numbers._
- _Interacting with students to identify solutions and set achievable goals_
- _Listening to students and their worries and observing their behaviours in a non-judgemental manner_
- _Mediating conflicts and finding resolutions between students, teachers and students and parents and teachers_
- _Conducting individual career guidance and skills assessment sessions_
- _Providing students with study materials to help prepare them for college admissions or vocational programmes._

**Educational qualifications**:

- _A bachelor's degree in psychology or an associated field_
- _A master's degree in counselling may be helpful_
- _A diploma course in child guidance and counselling_
- _A minimum of two years of professional experience in school counselling_
- _Excellent communication and active listening abilities_
- _Perceptive at understanding body language_
- _Proficient in mediating and good interpersonal skills_

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Haldwani, Uttarakhand: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
