The Sun School is seeking a passionate and experienced Art Teacher to join our faculty. The Art Teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging art curriculum, fostering creativity, and cultivating an appreciation for the arts among students.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Development**:

- Develop a comprehensive art curriculum aligned with CBSE standards and tailored to the needs and interests of students at different grade levels.
- Design lesson plans, projects, and activities that promote artistic expression, experimentation, and skill development across various mediums and techniques.

**Instruction and Classroom Management**:

- Deliver dynamic and interactive art lessons that engage students and encourage active participation in the creative process.
- Provide guidance and support to students as they explore different art forms, develop their artistic skills, and express their unique perspectives.

**Artistic Skills Development**:

- Teach fundamental principles of art, including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and digital media, while encouraging students to explore their own artistic style and voice.
- Provide constructive feedback, demonstrations, and individualized instruction to help students improve their technical skills and artistic abilities.

**Art History and Appreciation**:

- Introduce students to the rich history of art and diverse cultural traditions, fostering an understanding and appreciation of various artistic movements, styles, and artists.
- Incorporate discussions, presentations, and hands-on activities to deepen students' knowledge of art history and its relevance to contemporary art practice.

**Creativity and Expression**:

- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to express themselves creatively, take risks, and explore new ideas.
- Encourage experimentation, imagination, and critical thinking through open-ended art projects and collaborative initiatives.

**Assessment and Feedback**:

- Assess student progress and learning outcomes through a variety of methods, such as portfolio reviews, critiques, exhibitions, and performance assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their artwork, emphasizing growth, effort, and creativity while offering guidance for improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Proficiency in various art mediums and techniques, with a strong foundation in drawing, painting, and other traditional art forms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
- Knowledge of art history, contemporary art trends, and cultural diversity in art.
- Experience integrating technology and digital tools into art instruction is a plus.
