**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, cameras, DVR/NVRs, and related hardware/software.
- Run and terminate cables (e.g., coaxial, Cat5/Cat6) for surveillance systems.
- Perform regular system inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair faults in CCTV and security systems.
- Upgrade existing systems as needed, including software/firmware updates.
- Integrate CCTV systems with access control, alarm systems, and monitoring platforms.
- Maintain documentation of installations, service reports, and system schematics.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
- Train users or clients on system operation and basic troubleshooting.
- Provide on-site or remote technical support as required.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA, CCTV/Security Systems Certification) preferred.
- Proven experience as a CCTV technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, IP and analog camera setups, DVRs/NVRs, and networking.
- Familiarity with tools like cable testers, multimeters, and power supplies.
- Understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and low-voltage installations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and lift equipment.

**Work Conditions**:

- May require travel to various job sites.
- Exposure to indoor and outdoor environments.
- May involve working during off-hours, weekends, or on-call shifts.
